8 short, friendly modules for total beginners. You learn what a dispatcher does, how to talk to brokers and drivers, and how to read a load — step by step, in plain English.
Earn a Certificate of CompletionEligible to apply for a dispatcher internshipHere is the whole path in three steps. You don’t need any experience: finish the lessons and pass one test at the end.
Watch the short videos, read the handbooks and practice on the simulators. Go at your own pace.
One test at the end of the course, worth 40 points. Score 32 or more (80%) and you pass.
You get a Certificate of Completion with your name on it. Then you can apply for a dispatcher internship with a trucking company.
It shows your name, your exam score, the date and a unique certificate ID. Anyone, like an employer, can type that ID into our verify page to check that it is real.
It is a course-completion certificate only — not a government license or accreditation. (In the US, truck dispatchers do not need a license.)
Verify a certificateFinish the course and you’re eligible to apply for a dispatcher internship with a trucking company: Paki Logistics LLC (PLL), a real carrier. (A carrier is the company that owns the trucks and moves the freight.) An internship is a training role where you practice the job on a real dispatch desk.
This is a chance to apply, not a promise. Joe picks select students. It is not a guaranteed internship or job.
About the internshipA dispatcher is the calm voice on the phone. You find freight for a truck, agree on a fair price, and keep the trip on track until it is delivered.
You don’t drive. You don’t need a truck. You need a phone, a laptop, clear notes and good manners. New words? No stress — we explain every term the first time you see it, like these:
Scroll down — the truck drives with you.
Watch a short lesson video, then read the module in plain English. Every module has a handbook PDF you can keep.
Play the simulators: take calls, read loads, spot red flags. Mistakes here are free — that’s the point.
Take the final exam. Score 80% or more and you get your Certificate of Completion.
Choose your path: a company desk, freelance later, or apply for the dispatcher internship at Paki Logistics LLC (select students).
Each module is a stop on the route. Slow and steady on purpose: the job first, then the details.
01The job, who you help, how you get paid — simple.
02Shipper → broker → carrier → driver — and where you sit.
03Open and close habits, tools at a glance, checklist thinking.
04Beginner scripts for calls, texts, and emails.
05What a load post says, asking for the rate, one-step counters.
06Tracking, updates, POD, and a gentle intro to detention (paid waiting time).
07Load boards, niches, red flags, ethics — still simple.
08Company desk vs freelance vs own authority later — light touch.
40 points on Modules 1–8. Pass with 80%+ (32/40) and get your Certificate of Completion.
Every module comes as a little kit: a narrated video with captions, the full lesson text, a printable handbook, and — from Module 3 — a game-like simulator.
About 4 minutes each, narrated and captioned. Watch on your phone at lunch.
Every module as a clean, printable workbook — scripts, worksheets, drills.
Practice calls, rates and red flags with Broker Jordan and Driver Sam.
Copy-paste words for calls, texts and emails, so you never freeze.
Dispatchers check this number on every load. Rate per mile = total pay ÷ miles. Move the sliders and see if the load is worth it.
Rate per loaded mile
Okay — check the lane, time and costs.Practice numbers only. Real rates change every day by lane, season and truck type. Module 5 teaches you how to think about it.
Tap each time on the clock to see what a dispatcher does.
Coffee, notes, and a quick check: where is every truck? Who needs a load today?
New word: Truck statusStudents who finish Foundations and pass the final exam (Joe’s recommended bar is about 80%) are eligible to apply for a dispatcher internship at Paki Logistics LLC (PLL), a real carrier.
